Amanda Smith, Counseling Associate, RT Level I Certified, Nationally Certified Counselor

My motto is “Heal the family, heal the world.” Driven by a deep belief in our ability to grow through our relationships, I want to walk with you on the road to becoming who you are.

A chaotic childhood in a military family and a series of health struggles have taught me the value of faith, family, and unconditional love.

I love working with individuals, couples, families, and teens in a collaborative, creative space oriented towards cultivating change. My areas of strength are in supporting those struggling with body image, self-esteem, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, and relationship problems.

I live, work, and homeschool my two kids with my husband in Vancouver, Washington with our menagerie of animals. When I am not reading, writing, or listening to podcasts, you can find me geeking out with my metal detector in the park.

I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in communication from Portland State University and a master’s degree from Walden University in counseling.
