Lisa Kaiser, MCFC Master’s Intern

A Human Resources leader for 13 plus years with a vast amount of employee relations and “attentive listening” skills. I bring a sense “calm to chaos” and believe that we have the ability and resilience to successfully work through life's challenges, sometimes we just need a little help and guidance along the way.

A survivor of a childhood that included several traumas and a period in foster care, my resilience, and strength along with wonderful mentors have allowed me to overcome and push through many obstacles during that time.

With a humble, compassionate, and empowering spirit, my focus is working with and helping children and teens. My master's program focus at George Fox University has been in trauma, grief & loss and the process of forgiveness.

My therapy toolbox includes Play Therapy, Art Therapy, ACT, CBT, and Narrative Therapy. I don’t believe there is a “one size fits all” approach and that all individuals are wonderfully unique with varying life journeys.

I am a proud mother of two adult sons, and a beautiful boxer mix. Being that I believe self-care is very important, I run 3 -5 times a week and, in the spring, and summer I am on my paddleboard tackling the local rivers.
